Foundation takes about 7 days.
Day 5.
Another picture of Day 5 framing. Dean the framer will be done tomorrow, paving the way for the roofer, the electrician, the plumbers, the heating guys and the siding guys.
Keeping this pace will allow for a 3 to 4 month build time, getting someone into this cottage by Christmas.
Hey, Chuck, you @$$#@!&. (Sorry, it's been a few posts since someone called you a rotten name and I didn't want you to feel unloved. :)
ReplyDeleteAnother great little house... is this one also on Catskill Farms Drive? If so, would you mind if one of you neighbors checked it out? I promise to not be an @$$#@!& about it.
ND - you're too kind. I mean, I was beginning to be like 'where's the hate?
ReplyDeleteYes, this on is on Catskill Farms Drive, back by Nick's Cottage 9. Go on back - drive's a little rough so maybe walk from the cul de sac.
How sad that there are no better words for what I do than the smelly development words of 'subdivision' and 'cul de sac'. At least I don't build 'bonus rooms' and 'grand foyers' or 'kitchens to die for'.
LOL... did you know that "bonus room" comes from the latin meaning "huge, pointless, unnecessary finished space over your garage that accounts for 57% of your heating bill"?
